Using Mystoria

These terms describe use of Mystoria and its optional Plus subscription. An adult who can enter into an agreement should manage the account and purchases. Children can use stories and activities with adult support.

Mystoria is an educational and supportive tool. It does not diagnose conditions, provide clinical treatment, or guarantee any therapeutic or developmental outcome. Generated content needs review by someone who knows the reader and situation.

Mystoria Plus

Mystoria includes free reading, manual creation and editing, templates, personal photos and cutouts, and short activities. Plus provides cloud story and picture features with generation allowances.

Monthly and annual plans provide the same Plus features. The exact price, billing period, and included allowances are shown before purchase. Local currency, taxes, and availability may vary by storefront. Annual billing is one payment for a year; it is not a monthly charge.

Payment is processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple. You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple subscription settings. Canceling renewal normally keeps access until the current paid period ends, subject to refunds, revocation, or other changes reported by Apple.

For an Apple purchase refund, use Apple's refund request service. Apple determines refund eligibility. These terms do not limit applicable consumer rights.

How generation allowances work

Allowances count cloud requests, not completed or approved stories. Story drafting, illustration planning, and cloud text revisions share the text allowance. Picture generation, reference-based generation, and regeneration share the picture allowance. A story with several pictures uses several picture requests.

Allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC, including for annual plans. Unused allowance does not roll over and cannot be exchanged for money. The app displays remaining allowance and its reset date. Additional short-term rate limits may apply.

A request canceled before it is sent to the generation provider releases its reserved allowance. If it has been sent and its outcome is unknown, the allowance can remain reserved while the result is checked. Repeating an unchanged interrupted request uses the existing request identifier where recovery is available; contact support if a request remains unresolved. Do not assume an automatic refund or unlimited regeneration.

A cover that reuses an existing story picture does not require another picture-generation request. Local editing and rereading a saved story do not use cloud-generation allowance.

Saved stories and restoration

When Plus ends, your saved stories remain available for reading, editing, and export. Continued access to cloud generation requires an active subscription and remaining allowance.

Stories are saved on the device. Optional Cloud sync lets you retrieve uploaded stories on another device signed in to the same Mystoria account. Reading history and My world use a separate sync option on each device. Publishing a community template is an explicit action; private sync does not publish stories. Other people may keep copies they download even if you later withdraw a template. You can also use supported export/import features. Restore purchases verifies subscription access and is separate from story synchronization.

Use Restore purchases while signed in to the Mystoria account associated with your subscription. An active subscription is not intended to move between unrelated accounts. Contact support if you cannot access the original account.

Deleting your account or uninstalling Mystoria does not cancel your Apple subscription. Cancel it separately if you no longer want it to renew.

Your content and generated results

You retain the rights you hold in the content you supply. You give us permission to process that content as needed to provide the features you request, including processing by the providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Only upload or share content you are permitted to use. AI-generated text and pictures may contain mistakes, omit details, or vary in appearance across pages. We do not guarantee that generated material is unique, accurate, or eligible for copyright protection. Review it before use or sharing.

Do not use Mystoria to create abusive, exploitative, unlawful, or harmful content, compromise another person's privacy, bypass purchase or usage controls, or disrupt the service.

Availability and changes

Cloud features require an internet connection and may be affected by provider availability. On-device generation requires a supported device, sufficient storage and memory, and an initial model download. Generation may fail or require additional details.

We may maintain or update the service and will communicate material changes to paid features or terms as required. The service is provided as available; nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the App Store app license unless a valid custom agreement is provided with your download. These service terms explain Mystoria's account and cloud features.
